The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Services Division is partnering with the University of Kentucky, Colorado State University as well as Penn State University. Their goal is to conduct a $1 million cooperative research agreement for a national study on the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on our food system within the U.S. During this study over 16 groups are coming together in order to bring light to some important topics.
How are local and regional sectors responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic? How has the food industry successfully adapted to this pandemic? What is the impact on the economic scale?
The goal is to provide resources and educational materials to the communities about insights on the COVID-19 pandemic.
